Plum Reviews: “The Honest Toddler: A Child’s Guide to Parenting”
Ever wondered what is going through your child’s head? As all moms know just too well, toddlers sometimes have a tough time expressing themselves. Thankfully, the Honest Toddler is here to help! Penned by Bumni Laditan, the voice of the Internet’s most infamous toddler, “The Honest Toddler: A Child’s Guide to Parenting” is the perfect guide for parents currently (or imminently!) experiencing the triumphs of raising a baby-turned-toddler. Written from the perspective of a toddler, the tone is candid and straightforward, as the narrator provides a humorous perspective on food spills, temper tantrums (Honest Toddler calls them “loud responses”), sleeping habits, and much more.
Each chapter encapsulates fun scenarios for the entire family. My favorite, “Toddler-Approved Recipes” provides a handful of recipes for you and your little one to cook together. Parents and toddlers alike will both enjoy the “Ten Fun Activities for Eleven P.M. to Three A.M.” There are even recommendations for playdates! The Honest Toddler is also relevant for grandparents and other care-givers.
Having received rave reviews on Amazon.com, Goodreads.com, and more, “A Child’s Guide to Parenting” will have you laughing out loud in the grocery aisles or in the comfort of your own home.
More about the author: Bunmi Laditan is the voice behind the well-known Honest Toddler blog. In June 2013, it was announced that the blog inspired the idea for a TV show, currently in development with Darren Star (Sex and the City). Follow her on Facebook and Twitter today!
