That mom-to-be Natalie Portman wore plum to the Oscars last night. Could it have been a coincidence that she chose to swathe herself in the new official color of savvy moms everywhere (and looked damn good doing it) on the night she took home the statue for Best Actress? Sure, anything’s possible. But we’d like to think that she did so because she knows where it’s all happening.
